The system combines the state-of-the art general purpose structural analysis features of ANSYS with high-end, civil engineering-specific structural analysis capabilities of CivilFEM, making it a unique and powerful tool for a wide range of civil engineering projects (such as powerplants, bridges, tunnels, singular buildings, offshore structures, etc).
CivilFEM APPs allow the user to check and design your ANSYS Workbench models using the main international construction standards. The Apps include check and design tools for beams and shells, both steel and reinforced concrete for European (EC2 and EC3), American (AISC, LRFD, AISC ASD and ACI318) and American nuclear ACI 349 standards.
