Voracor CS 1089 Polyol & CD 526 Isocyanate
Polyurethane Rigid foam with closed cells for Thermal & Waterproofing Insulation
Voracor CS 1089 System is a polyurethane foam system used to produce rigid foam with closed cells for thermal insulation with an applied density of 40 kg/m3. The reaction of Voracor CS 1089 Polyol and VORACOR® CD 526 Isocyanate gives foams with good mechanical properties, dimensional stability and good adhesion to usual substrates. Both high and low-pressure machine can be used during the processing. It is recommended a substrates temperature not lower than 25 C.
Preparation
Polyurethane components are moisture sensitive. Therefore they must be stored at all times in sealed, closed containers. The substrate shall be free of oil, grease, etc. It shall
be cleaned and the substrate should be rough to get good bonding with P.U. chemical. The reaction of P.U. chemical depends on the temperature of the chemical and atmosphere temperature. Higher the temperature, faster the reaction and vice versa. In winter, if the ambient temperature very low, then the heater provided in the machine to be used, to bring the chemical temperature to the required level. The substrate shall be free of oil, grease, etc. It shall be cleaned and the substrate should be roughen to get good bonding result.
Application
PU spray foam system for the production of spray foam for insulation application. The system can be applied on substrate like metal, plywood and concrete as a Thermal Insulation and Waterproofing System. The thickness of spray is dependent on the R-value required and the thickness shall be between 30 mm to 150 mm depends on the application. The spray foam consists of several layers. In general one layer will have the thickness of 10 mm and This is dependent on the skill of the applicator.
Properties
Both high and low pressure machines can be used. Insulation application can be applied on substrate like metal, plywood and concrete Etc. for Thermal resistance and Waterproofing
Spray Application
