Email: info@xchem.ae, Web: www.xchem.ae V BOND P120 Page 1 of 1 Version: 2020 Dispersion Primer Description V BOND P120 is a single component, dispersion primer specially developed to enhance the bonding strength of V BOND self levelling and smoothening compounds with absorbent screeds and concrete floors. V BOND P120 soaks into porous, absorbent subfloors and forms a closed film on dense, non-absorbent subfloors. It provides a smooth levelled surface. V BOND P120 has the following features:  Enhances adhesion and bonding strength  Usable on porous and non-porous substrates  Easy to apply to using a roller  Excellent coverage  Binds residual dust Packaging 20 Kg Jerry Can Storage 12 months from date of manufacturing in original unopened containers. Store product (10 o C - 30 o C) for maximum storage life. Higher temperatures reduce normal storage life. Lower temperatures may cause increased viscosity of a temporary nature. Rotate stock on a “first in-first out” basis. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging. Application Procedure The substrate must be dry, clean, structurally sound, free of loose debris, grease, dust, laitance or other surface deposits. The surface should be prepared using light grit blasting to produce a lightly exposed aggregate surface. On screeds, V BOND P120 shall be diluted in a 1:1 ratio with water and applied in one or two coatings using a roller, depending on the absorption of the surface. On concrete floors, apply V BOND P120 undiluted. To accelerate the drying process, ensure adequate ventilation. Approximate coverage is 0.20-0.30 kg/m² and 0.10-0.15 kg/m² when diluted 1:1 with water depending on the porosity of the substrates. Substrates with low absorbency require 4-6 hours for drying. Absorbent substrates require 1-2 hours for drying. Specification Data: Colour: Light blue Physical Form: Liquid Application Temperature: 15°C to 35°C Maximum 75% RH Density: 1.00 ± 0.05 kg/L Viscosity: 50-150 cPs Cleaning Wet primer may be removed from tools or contaminated surfaces using water. Reacted primer may only be removed by mechanical means. Health & Safety The application must take place in well-aired places using protective gloves. Skin or eye contact must be avoided, in case of contact wash carefully with soap and water. Consult Material Safety Data Sheet for further information. For professional use only.
